last Friday was a Master of Imagination Painting Competition. Of course I was there! :) I started up with one project, duel between Land Speeder Storm and WraithLord.
It is really BIG project :)
Finnaly I won gold in Diorama/Unit category, what makes me really happy! :)
last Saturday was the biggest polish painting competition Hussar 2011. That was really great competition, because probably all best painters were there! :D Ana with Machon, Loler, Flameon, Redav, Karol Rudyk, Sławol, Nameless, Bohun, Przemo, Zahor, Ścibor, Mr. Denial, C’Tan, Ignis, Tula, Marta, Rakso the Slayer, Kacpero, Longer Tom, Czlowiek.morze, Flameon, Camelson, Daith, Sadziu, Orkish, Hacket, Maru, and more…
It was really important competition, because first prize, grand prix was a flight ticket to Chicago on Crystal Brush Competition.
Prize was really big, and sponsors were Cool Mini Or Not, Games Workshop and many more!

Finnaly Grand Prix won Flameon for his Dark Elf Assasin. A BIG PIECE OF ART! Congratulations mate!

During the competition were many attractions like sculping and painting classes.
First were Sculping classes with Robert Kurek - he is an autor of Hussar trophy.
Next classes with ME :D battle damage.
And classes with Ana - faces. Really great classes! :)
After all was a painters meeting with cold beer... uhh it was really tasty! :)

As a first Master of painting I'm presenting you Volomir. One of my best inspirations. His works are top in the world, what he proved winning many Golden Demons :)
Here you have one of his biggest project "The Last Stand of the Crimson Fists" Really breathtaking! Its more than 400 hours of work!
Next work that inspires me is "Ork Nob". When I saw that one I said "wow, I must paint an ork in similar way". I was trying but it was not even a little similar. Thats what I made.
And here you have an "Ork Nob" by Volomir.
Isn't it amazing? :D
Next marvelous work is a "Tribute to the Fallen". This work won a Silver Demon on GD Germany 2009 in Monster fantasy category. A lot of work and great inspiration. On his website you can find a tutorial how this work was made. Just take a look :)
Last and in my opinion best work I left at the end :) A amazing work "Brother Fonsel". I can safely say that it is the best Imperial Fists Marine I have ever seen! This mini won a gold in a Single 40k category on Golden Demon Germany 2008. On Volomir's blog you will find how to make standard like this one. It was my biggest inspiration for long time :) What can I say more, you must check it yourself.

I present you a short movie "Painting with Camelson". :) It is my own project, and it is just a trailer. Whole long movie will be able probably on January 2012.

I invite you all because there will be a lot of things to do. -Speed-painting competition which I will lead :) -Painting classes with painters like Ana and Camelson :) -and many more!
Ofcourse I will make 2 entrys. Duel for open/unit/diorama category, and single sci-fi model :) Both of them are surprises, but below you have a little foretaste of one work :)
It is the biggest source of my inspirations. And now I'm there! Between all those great painters! There is mistake that I am German not Polish, but it doesn't reduce my hapiness :p
Today I try to make a clip of mini :) And here you have effects of my work :)

Last week was Games Day Germany, and a week later was Grey Seer Gorzów 2011. Of course I can't miss that, first because I really like that competition, but first of all because of people who were there. :)
Of course I always must start with something new, and because a GD preparing I have only 2 days to paint something for Grey Seer :)
And here you have: Orc Slaver painted in one day :)
It was a quick paintjob, but I'm very happy with effects. Judge it yourself :)

Finally I have time to write something more about my trip to the Games Day Germany 2011, Köln. I was there with my friends Flameon and Zgryd. We had a loooong trip in the bus, really tiring trip, but when we were in Köln, everything became great! :)
Like every propainter we was finishing ours entries in hotel day before GD :)

Unfortunately we didn't go on the Painters Dinner, because we could not find the place, and when we finally found it, it was to late. :P
But we met them all on next day on Games Day! :)

Games Day is finally open for everyone! We are quickly go to entry our minis, and... WOW! there are a LOT OF WORKS already?? It was really amazing to see all those works in real. Every single miniature from Golden Demon was amazing! every work! Very hihg level :)
We leave ours entrys and we went to Games Day! :)
It was really lots of things and rooms with miniatures, competitions, cabinets, books everything! Really amazing experience!
When abou 4 p.m. I heard my name from speakers, I asked Matt what's happen? He told me "probably you win something".
And I was in heaven! :P
Finally I won Gold Demon for Duel, Silver Demon dor Nurgle Lord, and nothing for Arwen :P
